Need Health Insurance?

You may be eligible for help buying insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Open Enrollment each year in November.  If you don't sign up by mid-December, you generally can not get coverage for January.  However, you might be able to get coverage that starts at a later date.  You can enroll at Healthcare.gov.

If you already have a Marketplace plan, don't forget to review your policy and other options you may have.  You need to renew or select a plan before mid-December each year.  Otherwise, you will automatically be re-enrolled in the place you have now and you might not get as much financial help as you should.

Need Help?  You can get free help understanding your options at www.enroll207.com or call Consumers for Affordable Health Care at 1-800-965-7476.

You may also be eligible for MaineCare or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and can apply any time.  There are no limits on when you can apply for MaineCare or CHIP.  You can enroll right away if you are eligible.  You can apply online at www.maine.gov/mymaineconnection or call DHHS at 1-800-442-6003 to find out where to get help with an application.
